Finland is a winter wonderland and on this tour you will experience the best of it. The base of this active week is Kylmäluoma area in north-eastern Finland. There you can enjoy the extreme peace of nature and snow-covered landscape far away from tourist crowds. The program includes low-level activities like snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and a husky safari.
The overnight snowshoeing tour will really take you into the wilderness and a night in a basic but cosy cabin without electricity will surely be memorable. Every night you can relax in a genuine Finnish sauna. If you are lucky the dance of the magical Northern Lights on the night sky will top off your Finnish winter adventure! |

A wintry multiactivity week in Kajaani. Departures for groups on request.

This active week will acquaint you with various winter activities in the area of Kainuu, in eastern Finland. The accommodation will be for the whole week in the small family-run hotel called “Karolineburg” situated in a tranquil spot within 5 minutes’ walk from the Kajaani town centre. All the activities will take place whether near Kajaani or in Vuokatti situated within 35 minutes’ drive from the hotel.
The organized activities last normally until 3 or 4 pm and if you still feel like doing more exercise you can do it on your own because everybody will have cross-country skis and snowshoes at disposal for the whole week. The closest illuminated skiing track is situated only 200 metres from the hotel and the forest is ideal for the snowshoeing as well. |
