A hotel based hiking week.
|
Vuokatti Hiking Week is a fantastic active programme in the heart of Finnish nature. The programme includes four hiking days through a variety of landscapes, including two National Parks. During the week we hike on wooded hillsides, along the edge of a gorge, cross swamp areas on causeway, walk sandy ridge paths, and through dense forest. There will also be some free time to enjoy the varied leisure activities of the area.
The accommodation will be for the whole week in Hotel Tulikettu, which has a beautiful location within 5 minutes’ walk from the Sotkamo municipality centre. Lake Sapsojärvi and its beautiful beach are situated just close to the hotel.
Vuokatti, with its versatile leisure activities lies only within 5 minutes’ drive from Sotkamo. During the day off you can eg. pick up an interesting activity from the Vuokatti weekly programme which includes eg. cycling, canoeing, riding, fishing and visit to the husky farm including a ride with “Husky Mercedes”. |
